Description:
Bowshar is an old village in Oman, inland from Muscat. The locals pride themselves in their history, reaching back to the time of Muhammad. It is interesting that their new mosque, built on the foundations of a still older mosque points exactly to Petra and not to Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
