While this site is listed in archaeological databases, the exact GPS coordinates are unknown. It seems to be south of the Karbala Cement Plant. The site dates from 700-750 from texts, pottery, inscriptions on the site, coins, and a mihrab. The site is about 30 km south west of the large Qasr Bani Muqatil, (listed in the Online Qibla Database as Ukhaydir). This measurement is following the wadi or river bed.
