For more than twenty years, author Dan Gibson
has pursued the elusive and often mysterious ancient Nabataeans.
His travels have included most of the countries of the Middle
East, and many western research libraries and museums. His passion
for understanding the Nabataeans has taken him into the deserts
of Arabia where he has examined many of the lesser known Nabataean
sites, as well as having lived and moved for several years with
nomadic Bedouin tribes. The culmination of his research has been
published in the hardbound volume The Nabataean Collection. Many
of his research papers and pictures have also been made available
