The Edomite Kingdom is one of those neglected archeological topics. However, as much of Nabataea and ancient Edom overlap, we have included a special section for students of this historical period. We welcome contributions from researchers and writers, and students of this time period. Some of us here at Nabataea.net hold a special theory about the Edomites, (ie. That their early kingdom was a powerful nomadic kingdom) known to the Egyptians as the Hyksos, and in Islamic literature as "The People of 'Ad." This information is presented in Dan Gibson's book Qur'anic Geograph.
