This chart was constructed from Genesis and I Chronicles in the Bible. Note several things: The majority of this chart is about the sons of Eber (from where the word Hebrew comes from). Note the various tribes that were cousin-tribes, speaking the same original language and having the same religious roots. Over the years these fragmented, but the roots remain.
