*First the book, then the movie, now the websites. All of these have made Lawrence of Arabia larger than life. On this page I hope to dispel some of the myths, and explore some of the mystery that surrounded this strange British officer who played such a large part in shaping the political boundaries of the Middle East as it is today. A great deal of Lawrence’s efforts were focused around destroying the Turkish Hejaz Railway. If you wish to view pictures of the Hejaz Railway and some of the ruined trains, please visit Nabataea.net’s Hedjaz Railway Section under the TRAVEL section of this website. This section allows you to visit all of the train-stations along the Hejaz Railway

As time permits, I will upload photos and descriptions from the time of Lawrence of Arabia. If you have any photos you would like us to put on this page, please contact us.
